The Burning of France in Real Time: Limoges Falls
The Limoges Town Hall survived two world wars only to be destroyed by radicals this week. The entire town is historic, and the people must be heartbroken. The only thing that would stop this violence by communists and Islamists is to give the police the right to shoot the extremists when they commit dangerous, violent acts, justifying the reaction.
The historic Limoges Town Hall was largely destroyed by fire after being targeted by a masked mob amid violent nationwide protests. The building’s iconic 140-foot-high belfry and clock tower collapsed during the October 2026 incident.
It was as beautiful inside as outside.
Organized rioters torched Limoge’s 143-year-old Town Hall during a so-called cost-of-living March.
The leftist LFI had already spent years saying violence can be legitimate, and they should have been stopped long ago.
They smashed the windows around 5 PM, driving the fire to the roof by seven; the 43-meter tower collapsed.
The 1883 building, protected as a monument since 1975, held Venetian mosaics and Haviland porcelain coats of arms. The prefect, Maurice Barate, called them largely lost.
The Communist Behind the Revolution is Jean-Luc Méenchon.
The mayor described the attack as methodical and driven by hate, then pointed straight at Mélenchon’s party. Mélenchon is a revolutionary communist, who calles himself a socialist.
He is widely seen as the force behind this Red-Green uprising in France and elsewhere in Europe. It is allegedly a student protest. No one believes the Islamic or communist French students care that much about their education.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon is bringing the high school children into the Red-Green alliance. He is not a socialist, but rather a hardened communist who uses the Islamists to bring about the ruination of a democratic France.
Nearby, police cars burned, and shops were looted. About 1,200 people were arrested nationwide that day; more Limoge criminal cases will drag on for months
Barate called it “a deliberate act by hooligans,” adding that it was a “catastrophe for heritage.”
The destruction came as far-left anti-government protests and violent clashes entered their fourth week in the European country. It’s allegedly over the cost of living. We all should know by now that it’s about destroying the West and rebuilding it into a collectivist hellhole. The riots have spilled over into Brussels, and elsewhere.
On Saturday, outgoing President Emmanuel Macron wrote on social media: “There is no place for violence in our republic.”
Are you kidding me? That’s his beta response?

His promises are foofoo dust. They don’t prosecute these people. They arrest and release. These people should be shot by the police when they put people in danger, and it is justifiable. That is the only thing that would stop it.
