Governments Tell Everyone to Become a Prepper
Dozens of countries worldwide have recently issued public advisories urging citizens to keep food, water, and other essentials for emergencies, with some advising 72 hours and others up to 10 days. Countries are jumping aboard with the warning because of new research that shows people don’t prepare for emergencies. Preparing is just a good idea.
It is not unprecedented. In 2026, dozens of governments across multiple continents urged citizens to keep emergency water and food supplies, reflecting a global shift toward “community resilience” amid geopolitical tensions, cyber threats, and natural disasters.
Multiple reputable outlets report that many nations across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Pacific have issued such warnings in the past two weeks.
Countries sending out notices include: the UK, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, Australia (cyclone-prone areas), and South Africa (Cape Town).
Some reasons for the notices given are potential climate calamities, geopolitical tensions, cyber threats, and sabotage risks.
Something big could be coming, or not, probably not- maybe never thanks to the strengthening of our defenses by President Trump and Secretary Hegseth. I doubt anyone will start a nuclear war, and Iran is incapable at the moment. No one seems to have an appetite for it.
The UK is also building up their military because Donald Trump woke them up to their lack of preparedness. They had one broken-down warship, so it’s about time they built up their military.
However, my Great Depression grandparents had shelves stocked with staples throughout their lives. Most governments recommend non-perishable food, bottled water, medicines, flashlights, batteries, radios, and other essentials. I also have antibiotics. Why not prepare just in case?
Don’t let this panicky approach get into your head. Keep it real. Calamities can happen, but usually don’t.
There are warnings going out about 30 days of preparedness… take them seriously 🚨

We’re Not Dismissing People’s Legitimate Concerns
We now have cyberattacks with enemies attacking our water supplies, which is one concern. Enemies are hacking our financial and electrical systems. However, we’ve handled every threat well.
We have an upcoming election of Democrat Socialists and Communists going up against the administration, so go vote against them. We can’t control everything, but get out and vote Republican. I am a Republican with a tiny ‘r’ but there is no other party to vote for. Democrats are a disaster, led by lunatics.
The riots in Europe are concerning, and we all know the rioters are always ready in the United States. The new Democrats hate the country, while hoping for a color revolution. There are coups in Poland and Brazil. The Polish people are fighting it, and Flavio Bolsonaro will fight it from the USA.
The riots are pushed by communists, Islamists, and globalists who want a one-world government. The damage caused by globalists, with the high costs of power and de-industrialization, suggests the discontent goes beyond these far-left groups. It also suggests that their ideas are so bad that they will be hoisted by their own petard.
Given the abuse and loss of freedom during the pandemic, I wouldn’t dismiss a move by globalists who like to launch color revolutions. We don’t know how far they would go, but their ideas are terrible and will fail.
The stock market did well on AI, but now AI has hit a bubble. Stocks go up and down. None of this is new, just different.
AI might be very dangerous. That’s real. For one thing, AI agents are hacking into banks. Banks are racing to deal with these intrusions. Unfortunately, most or all of the problems are from customers giving AI agents access to their accounts. That doesn’t change the fact that it is a serious problem. It presents dangers. However, AI could also greatly advance civilization. We can’t stop it.
Paranoid propaganda fills our airwaves nonstop. Keep bad actors out of your head. Deal with all of this using common sense and reason. I’m not dismissing people’s concerns or forward-thinking abilities, but sift through the BS. Don’t let reasonable concerns become panic.
Overreacting can’t gain you anything except ill health. Live for each day. Be thankful for the here and now. My late husband always said that after he came back from war. Deal with problems as they come, but prepare when you can. Prayer is good too. Be a Prepper, sure.
Hey, you just never know, but keep it real. Keep a stiff upper lip and value what is important, like your family. We will survive.
