How Catholic Charities Gave Us Little Mogadishu
According to the New York Post, Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services have received at least $62 million in federal funding since 1993 to resettle roughly 29,000 Somali refugees in Minnesota.
Approximately 29,000 Somali refugees were placed in Minnesota starting around 1993. This began long before Joe Biden took office.
Each refugee cost about $2,500 to cover initial housing, food, and support services. The effort helped grow Minnesota’s Somali population to over 100,000 through chain migration and the state’s generous welfare system, leading to ethnic enclaves such as Little Mogadishu in Minneapolis.
Catholic Charities Twin Cities reported shutting down its refugee and immigrant programs in 2018.
Lutheran services, for their part, were reshaping the state.
Most of the money they originally received came from their church faithful. Eventually, it shifted over to tax dollars.
Catholic Charities was allegedly helping people here illegally after they were resettled.
They aided and abetted the lawless immigration into this country, giving us enclaves of unassimilated foreigners. About 81% in Minnesota are on some form of welfare.
Then they facilitated illegal immigration on the border. They had a store on the border where everything was free for illegal aliens. If they wanted to travel anywhere in the country, those who couldn’t speak English pointed to a spot on the map and got transportation there.
Catholic Charities isn’t the church; it’s a far-left offshoot run by radical-left Sister Norma, Pope Francis’s favorite nun.
