Christine Lagarde to Bail Early Before the EU Falls Into Chaos

Now that the EU is struggling financially, Christine Lagarde, a French national and the Chief of the European Central Bank, is leaving her position early. Thanks to the EU’s rigid extremism on Climate Change and their impossible goal of net zero, they are on a downward spiral. They have dramatically de-industrialized as they allowed mass immigration that continues to this day.

She will become Chair of the World Economic Forum, where she can watch the chaos as right-wingers take leading roles in some EU nations.

Lagarde said:

“I want to have the freedom of speech, the freedom of expression, and the freedom to engage on matters that are not monetary policy matters,” Ms. Lagarde said at a news conference at the central bank’s headquarters in Frankfurt. She said, “My voice can help, my action can help,” in many countries, not just in Europe, though she was not explicit about how she might direct her views.”

Meanwhile, the EU leaders won’t give the people free speech.

The Times said:

“The timing of the French presidential election has also been thought to be an important factor for Ms. Lagarde. The possibility of a far-right politician’s winning the vote had led some analysts to speculate that Ms. Lagarde might leave while President Emmanuel Macron was still in office and could play a role in choosing her successor. Marine Le Pen, the far-right front-runner, has hostile views toward European institutions and has said she wants to cut France’s contribution to the bloc’s budget.”

Marine Le Pen isn’t far-right. The Left thinks everyone who isn’t on the Left is far-right.

Ironically, as disaster approaches, Canada’s Prime Minister, Mark Carney, is trying to join the EU as an associate.  At least one MEP told him to run in the other direction as fast as he can.

Lagarde will leave in February, not October.

Sadly, great nations fall, great cities fall, and the EU has set up a plan for failure that they won’t accept as a failure. Hopefully, they will reverse course.
