Elon Musk to Give a Share of SpaceX to the Nation’s Children
Elon Musk promised that about 70 to 72 million children in our nation can expect one share of SpaceX at Monday’s price of $149.05. If the tech mogul does so, the gift would be a charitable act worth about $10.5 billion.
Musk wrote on X: “Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.”
Bloomberg reported that Musk is by far the world’s richest person with a net worth of more than $900 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. His SpaceX shares account for most of that wealth, about $700 billion, with the rest coming from Tesla Inc., Boring Co., and Neuralink (Bloomberg).
Trump thanked Elon on Truth Social.
