Another DOJ Official Resigns
People are overreacting to people leaving the administration, calling it a shakeup. This always happens after two years for various reasons. I am sorry that Harmeet Dhillon and Jason Quiñones are leaving, but it’s the way it goes. It will be an issue for Todd Blanche. However, Attorney General Blanche is tough, and he will manage.
Florida US Attorney Jason Reding Quiñones resigned and thanked President Trump for his trust. He thanked and praised the men and women he worked with. He said it was a privilege, and he leaves with immense pride in what they have accomplished.
US Attorney Quiñones’s office indicted Raul Castro. He was also leading the probe of the alleged conspiracy among Obama administration officials claiming falsely that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016 colluded with the Russian government. Subpoenas were sent to former CIA Director Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former FBI Director Comey.
This is the Russiagate hoax.
His job must be very stressful. I get stressed reading and writing about that mess. And who wants to deal with the Pinkos who just took over Congress.
I submitted my resignation to the President as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, effective today.
From serving our Nation in uniform to serving at the Department of Justice and on the bench, public service has been the honor of my lifetime. But leading the U.S. Attorney’s Office in my home district has been especially meaningful.
I am grateful to President Trump for his trust and to the extraordinary men and women of the great Southern District of Florida for their dedication, friendship, and unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law.
It has been the privilege of a lifetime to serve alongside them and our law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.
I leave with immense pride in what we accomplished together and profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve our great Nation.
God bless America. 🇺🇸
