The Radical New Governor of Texas to End School Choice

Gina Hinojosa is planning a very radical agenda for Texas only one day after her election. She will end school choice to cater to her teacher union pinkos. As Corey DeAngelis said, “You want to rip scholarships away from over 100,000 kids and force them into failing government schools. Despicable.”

“On Day One, I will fire Mike Morath,” she said, “and we will work tirelessly to repair the damage of the Texas voucher scam – And end an era in which our schools are sold for parts.”

I love how she calls it “damage” and a “scam,” which it is not. However, that’s all a Democrat has to do is lie dramatically, and the media will spread the lie.

Parents are happy with school choice, and the children do much better out of the union teachers’ clutches. I am an educator, I know it works.

They’re overthrowing school choice in Texas. The ONE policy that’s our best shot at reversing abysmal education outcomes. It’s literally a civil rights issue. All to reward the Democratic lobby that is the failed teachers’ union cabal, reports NRO columnist Caroline Downey.

Fortunately, for now, Republicans still have the supermajority in the state senate and can veto this monstrous agenda.

School choice is currently the only answer to the country’s literacy and math crisis, except for homeschooling, which most parents cannot do.
