Democrats’ Latest Scheme to Destroy the Electoral College in 2028
The National Popular Vote has 48 votes. The backers, mostly Democrats, say that is what it needs to govern the 2028 Presidential Election. It is actually tyranny of the masses. Democrats plan to try to put it through in 2028. The proponents are trying to manipulate the Electoral College out of existence. The NPV or NPVIC would give the far-left coastal states the decision over who president is. It will sow chaos and lawsuits in an election year. The scheme also allows far more voter fraud.
Schemes to destroy the Electoral College with the NPV or NPVIC have gone on since the 1960s. Then, it was considered a zany, dumb idea. The Democrats wanted to get around the Electoral College and tried to push it. It is now taken seriously, and the backers are patient. George and Alex Soros reportedly promoted the idea of an NPV aggressively. Alex Soros has propagandized the “Junk the Electoral Process” since 2008.
The backers claim that when they have more than 48 electoral votes, they can enact the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. That time is 2028.
However, it is completely tied to Democrats’ power. Democrats pursued it aggressively after George W.’s win; then again afterHillary Clinton’s loss. When Democrats don’t win, they try to destroy whatever caused it. They want to make sure Republicans can never win.
Proponents claim it is “true democracy,” but to them, “democracy” is interchangeable with “socialism.” The promoters moved state by state to get approval and to bypass the Constitutional amendment process. This alone relegated the Supreme Court to complete insignificance. As per the Communist Manifesto, “popularism” is the means of “democracy.” It achieves a monopoly of democratic parties for the worldwide Socialist order.
Basically…
It destroys people’s votes instead of giving everyone a vote. It works similarly to the way states have destroyed the votes of suburban and rural voters. For example, in New York, most districts voted for Lee Zeldin as governor, but high-population areas have more electoral votes, and they don’t count the votes from the other districts. The voice of everyone is eliminated in favor of the cities, which are heavily populated by far-left Democrats.
The Electoral College gives all states representation in our government, so ranchers in Wyoming and elites in NYC have a say in who becomes President.
Under the new proposed system, tax-and-spend entitlement Progressives in the cities would have a say, but corn farmers in Iowa would have none.
Since the Democrats and unions control the big cities with fraud, an overabundance of liberals, and control of the voting machines, the disadvantage is obvious. In Illinois, Chicago controls the state, and the same will happen here. The big cities will control the White House. Illinois, California, NY, and NJ have passed this law. Do you want them controlling your state?

Dive Deeper
The NPVC, or NPV, is sold as harmless. Its advocates describe it as a more democratic electoral method that gives each American a direct voice in electing our president. However, in a legal memorandum, Oct 27, 2011, Heritage concludes that:
Consequently, the NPV[9] scheme proposes an interstate compact in which participating states agree in advance to automatically allocate their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote, disregarding the popular vote results in their states or what the relevant legislatures might then desire. The NPV would “put the fate of every presidential election in the hands of the voters in as few as 8 states and thus…give a handful of populous states a controlling majority of the Electoral College,”[10] undermining the protections of the Electoral College.
What is important is that these 8 states would mostly have Democratic power.
In 2011, Mitch McConnell called it a “genuine threat to our country,” and Banana Republic stuff.
Current Status of National Popular Vote
The Compact has been enacted by 18 states and D.C., possessing 222 of the 270 electoral votes needed to activate the Compact.
The bill has been introduced in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and many other states. These states have more than the 48 electoral votes needed for the compact to take effect before the 2028 presidential election.
The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact would guarantee the presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. More information is available at nationalpopularvote.com. They will feed you a line of BS, and the NPV is very confusing, which is what they count on.
The Way It Works
States can choose to form a compact with several others, and all the Electoral Votes become part of the Compact. It ends up leaving a handful of Compacts deciding the election. Politicians will campaign only in those states. Obviously, the ones with the largest populations (almost always Democrat states) will be the ones they campaign in.
The NPVIC defeats the principle of the Electoral College in the Constitution: to give smaller states a voice in who serves as President. It is a scheme that does the opposite of what the Founding Fathers intended. It would allow the most populous states to win the presidency. This compact is the nail in our Republic’s coffin.
The Purpose
When people go to the polls, we generally think the person who gets the most votes should win. Not necessarily, according to Sen. Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), who called it an appealing idea but attacked the plan as “absurd and dangerous,” according to MSNBC.
It’s a way to damage the Constitution, and it will cause chaos and lawsuits in 2028. It will lead to voter fraud.
