A Missing Dan Sullivan and a Widening Criminal Election Fraud Case

Daniel J. Sullivan — the independent Alaska Senate candidate nicknamed “Decoy Dan” for his near‑identical name to Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan — left his hometown of Petersburg, Alaska, in early October 2026. That was just days before a major New York Times report alleged that Democrat nominee Mary Peltola’s campaign recruited him to confuse voters.

Peltola, Chuck Schumer, and the DSCC knew about this fraud for months.

The New York Times first reported that operatives linked to Democrat Mary Peltola’s campaign recruited him.

According to multiple CBS News sources, a former student and resident saw Sullivan aboard a flight from Petersburg to Anchorage on October 26, 2026, two days before the NYT story broke. A friend described him and his wife as “world travelers,” but his current whereabouts remain unclear.

Dozens of Petersburg residents also told CBS News they never saw or received any campaign materials like mailers, flyers, brochures, or signs since he announced his candidacy.

He didn’t campaign, and didn’t have a platform.

Stephen Miller told Fox News:

“[This is what is] going on and going down in Alaska. The Democrat Party, the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Democrat Campaign of Mary Peltola in Alaska, have been caught red-handed attempting one of the most egregious election steals, election cheating schemes, election rigging schemes anyone has ever seen.

“They scoured the state of Alaska from top to bottom to find anyone they possibly could who had the same name as our beloved Senator Dan Sullivan. And then they lied about it repeatedly, day after day, week after week. Not just to the people of Alaska, they lied about it in state court. They lied about it in federal court. This… is a criminal conspiracy, [a]violation of many laws, including, of course, 18 U.S.C. 241.

“You’ll remember that the Biden administration put Douglas Mackey- he was a blogger, a memer, who went online, told an innocent joke about Hillary Clinton- and they put him in jail, saying his joke about Hillary Clinton could mislead people about the election. What then is the just outcome of what happened in Alaska?

What could greatly widen the investigation, in addition to them lying in court, is a campaign with no expenditures.

The Citizen Journalist

“Why would a literally non-existent campaign need to send tens of thousands of dollars to a DC Swamp Democrat law firm? And why did Sullivan need to loan his own campaign $10,000? Was that a retainer fee?” asks one X poster, citizen journalist Saint James Hartline.

Hartline also wrote:

“We already know Mary Peltola has lied about the ongoing Alaska election fraud scheme when she said she didn’t know anything about it. Mary Peltola has a history in Petersburg, Alaska, and she visited Petersburg TWO days before Petersburg resident fake Senate candidate Daniel J. Sullivan announced his campaign for the Senate.

“Mary Peltola’s campaign had previously received two campaign contributions from Karen Dillman, the wife of Daniel J. Sullivan and then Peltola received a third campaign contribution from Dillman after her husband declared his candidacy. Further, both Daniel J. Sullivan and his wife have long histories working for the U.S. Department of Forestry in Alaska, which is an area that Peltola has been actively involved with politically for years. As the investigation unfolds, I believe it will be uncovered that Mary Peltola has interacted extensively with the same entities that Karen Dillman has been involved with.”

According to Hartline, Sullivan’s far-left Democrat wife is his campaign treasurer.

Another X poster said:

“Here is the Alaska Senate ballot. It’s not subtle. Decoy Dan registered as a Republican in June and asked to be listed that way, then quietly switched to undeclared in August. Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) keep waving the whole thing off as nothing. Meanwhile, he sits alphabetically right next to the actual senator with a blank where everyone else’s party affiliation is printed. It’s clearly a blatant attempt to deceive.”
