Judge Who Apologized to Attempted Presidential Assassin Throws Out Case of 2 FBI Agents
The judge who apologized to a man who tried to kill the President dismissed criminal charges against Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides. They potentially lied about the Hunter Biden laptop.
Nikki Floris (former top intelligence analyst at the FBI’s Washington Field Office) and Bradley Benavides (former deputy assistant director at the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division and section chief).
The Justice Department had accused the pair of lying to Congress during 2023 testimony before the House Judiciary Committee regarding their knowledge of and involvement in the FBI’s investigation into Hunter Biden and his laptop.
Judge Faruqui ruled that prosecutors failed to establish probable cause that either official had committed a crime, describing the government’s evidence as nonexistent (“Without motive, without direct evidence, I have nothing”).
He insulted the prosecutors and the DOJ because we know where he is coming from.
“What has transpired here cannot be described as anything other than weaponization,” Faruqui said as he dismissed the charges against Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides.
Andy McCarthy wrote on National Review, “There is strange stuff going on in the District of Columbia courts. A magistrate judge has declined to accept the return of an indictment that the Justice Department obtained from a grand jury in a manner that may be unprecedented but appears (to me, at least) to be legal.”
He said the judge is considered something of a “diva.”
The Democrats have control of the courts, and judges control the presidency more than they should in my estimation.
It should surprise no one DC U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia Mustafa Faruqui was appointed by the far-left judges of D.C. He is the judge who apologized to a failed Trump assassin. Today, he dismissed charges against dirty FBI agents the day before the midterm elections.
Faruqui is doing precisely what he accused the Trump Justice Department of doing:
Election interference.
