About Us

Fat Elephant is a political blog run by Maura Dowling. She has been blogging since 2011. The website is for conservative, Republican, and libertarian readers.

We strive to get the best, most up-to-date factual news, but we also offer commentary and opinion.

Several volunteers write for the Elephant, and we have volunteer researchers. This website is new, and we will add more information shortly.
