California Won’t Obey Federal Law on the 20,000 Noncitizen Voter Registrants

The Justice Department sued California, requiring it to set aside mail ballots from more than 20,000 registrants that DHS calls likely noncitizens. California let the deadline pass. They have no intention of abiding by the law, and they will likely protect their noncitizens who vote. That is the Democratic Party of today.

Sacramento is again insisting the federal government gets lost on ballot verification after they lost in court, within a day of losing on agents and IDs.

With the election coming up, the Federal Government asked California to complete its review by noon today. California didn’t do it.

Instead, the L.A. County registrar announced that its office rejected an encrypted thumb drive from a federal agent identifying likely noncitizen voters.

The Feds asked the Court to enjoin California from presently tabulating vote-by-mail ballots from likely noncitizens in the upcoming federal election until the voter’s citizenship status can be determined.

Attorney General Todd Blanche remarked that “State-facilitated voter fraud is unacceptable in the United States of America.”

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli noted that “California election officials were given an opportunity to remove noncitizens from their voter rolls and to sequester ballots returned from suspected ineligible voters. They refused.”

After delaying it in court, they said it was too late. Tricky, huh?
