Jacob Frey’s Policy Aide Sentenced to 33 Months in Federal Prison

Abdi Nur Salah, a former policy aide to Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud for stealing $1.66 million from a federal pandemic child nutrition program.

Salah was involved in the massive $250 million Feeding Our Future scam. Prosecutors say Abdi Nur Salah used Feeding Our Future and Stigma-Free International to fraudulently claim nearly five million meals were served to children over the course of a year. Salah is the 31st defendant sentenced in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme and is reportedly responsible for $1.6 million of the $250 million stolen from taxpayers.

He should be deported after he serves his sentence, but it’s Minneapolis.

Salah was welcomed into the country to live a better life, and he stole money that our taxpayers put aside for needy children. What kind of man is this? Then we have Jacob Frey, who lives in some kind of strange bubble.

As a Senior Policy Aide for Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Abdi Nur Salah made an annual base salary of $85,914.40.
